Best Screen Play - Entries for Best Screen Play to submit scripts.

Micro Budget Entry - Proof of Budget be submitted. 

Certified ID Copies - Certified ID copies of Identity Document (ID) of the entry nominee must be submitted with the application

Proof of KZN Origin - Proof of KZN address should be submitted. Should the entrant be of KZN origin residing outside of KZN, proof of address with an affidavit should be provided.

Entrants that are non-producers - In the instance where the entrant is not the producer, the producer must co-sign to allow for entry of the production. 

Once signed, the producer and entrant agree to the right for KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority to use footage for the use of the following: 

• Snippets of not less than three (3) minutes for on screen nominee packages for use in the 2026/27 awards ceremony whether televised or not televised.
• The use of the name of production and snippets of not less than three (3) minutes for promotional purposes in relation to the Simon “Mabhunu” Sabela KZN Film & Television Awards for 2026/27 even if the promotional elements are posting the said event but in relation the session for 2026/7.
• As per the guided regulation of The South African POPI (Protection of Personal Information Act, No.4 of 2013) on the right to privacy of an individual; we would like to advise that all nominees and winners photographs will be taken and used for publicity platform services.

Name of entrant: The person assigned to enter the production and who will be the touch point for the KZN Tourism & Film Awards team.

Name of production: The name of the production entered. 

Name of entry nominee: The name of the person who is being nominated for entry if it is not a self-entry. 

Broadcast date: The date of broadcast of the production. 

Duration of production: The duration of the production. 

Award category: The category the production is being entered for. Only one entry form per award category. If the production is being entered for multiple awards, please submit a new form and new USB/ Vimeo link with password. 

Genre: The genre the production is being entered for.

Persons with disability entry: If the entry is produced by or features a person with a disability, please provide the notice on the type of disability.

Self nomination: If you are entering your own production or are entering a production that you featured in.

Nominator: If you are not the original producer/owner of product but wish to enter a production into the awards

Acceptance of nomination: If you are entering a production that is not yours or entering a production in nomination of someone else, you are to ensure that the person you are nominating for entry accepts the entry.

Acceptance of entry by producer: If you are not the producer of the production, you are entering into the process, you are to ensure that the producer accepts that the production is entering the awards.
