Overview
Thabo Vincent Mhlamvu is a KwaZulu-Natal-based film producer, production accountant, script development producer, and founder of Muzinomhle Recording Film and Publication (Pty) Ltd.
He is a FITI graduate, trained through the former KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission’s three-year Film Industry Transformation Initiative, where he developed practical skills in film producing, production accounting, production administration, and project delivery.
Through Muzinomhle Recording Film and Publication, he produced Black Money, an NFVF PESP4-funded feature film. He is currently developing Ngishaye, an NFVF-funded short film project. His work combines rural and urban KwaZulu-Natal storytelling, community participation, disciplined production administration, and funder-compliant reporting.
Thabo has also served in industry evaluation and development roles, including NFVF panel advisory work, DIFF pre-screening, and SAFTAs jury participation. Alongside his film career, he completed a digital data analyst internship at eThekwini Municipality, strengthening his skills in data capture, reporting, Power BI, project tracking, and administrative systems.
He is available for film producing, production accounting, script development support, production coordination, community-based film projects, film workshops, screenings, and creative project administration.
