Redlands Hotel & Conference Centre, based in Pietermaritzburg is situated in the sought after
suburb of Wembley in the heart of the beautiful Redlands Estate. Ideally situated 5 minutes from
the CBD and all amenities, the tranquillity of the hotel makes you wonder how KZN's capital city
is little more than a stone's throw away.
The Hotel comprises of 16 Deluxe Rooms, 2 Library Suites and 4 Premier Suites. The rooms are
situated on either the 1st or 2nd floor of the original hotel or on the ground and 1st floors of the
new wing which was completed in 2007. All of the rooms are beautifully appointed. The hotel has
a fully licensed bar and restaurant. Our whiskey collection is growing and there is surely
something to satisfy every taste. The beers are always cold and there are few better place to
relax after a long day, having a drink by the pool in summer or around the fireplace in winter. Our
fine wines will compliment your meal in the Blue Room where our chef's reputation is renowned
for excellence. Breakfasts are a great way to start the day with either a continental or full English
breakfast available. Although we are open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner, bookings
are essential to avoid disappointment.
The Premier and Library suites in particular boast beautiful views over the tree tops and have
private lounges or studies. All guests have access to either wireless or ADSL internet
connections, the use of which is complimentary. Air-conditioning, satellite television and direct
dial phones all come as standard along with complimentary tea and co􀆯ee stations. Our
reception desk is manned 24 hours a day, should you require any assistance.
The Redlands Estate also o􀆯ers the use of a full sized Tennis court and a full-fledged Hair and
Beauty Spa that is available for guests ease of access, the additional shuttle services to
attractions in and around Pietermaritzburg are also available and guided tours can be organised
at the guests request.
