Overview

Damien completed a Bachelor of Music degree in 2021. During his studies, he co-founded 2 events companies, Darker Dimensions and Roots Up Entertainment, focussed on building the local music scene and providing a platform for local artists to launch their careers. He worked as the head sound engineer for the Rainbow Jazz Club and Restaurant, a prestigious jazz venue in South Africa. Majoring in Composition & Arranging and Electro-Acoustic Music (or Studio) prepared him very well for work in the film industry. He has worked as an audio editor, mixing engineer, and field recordist since 2021 and partnered with several well-known brands. He has also composed for film, as well as worked on jingles for various TikTok campaigns.
