Mfanafuthi Mthethwa worked on the 13-part reality show "The Longest Date Season 2", broadcast on SABC 3, as a 2nd Assistant Director. He was the First Assistant Director on the feature film "Makati", funded by NFVF. He worked as a Production Assistant on the award-winning Simon Sabela feature documentary "Amandla Embokodo", funded by NFVF and KZN Film Commission. He was the 1st Assistant Director on the short film "Shepherd Joy", funded by NFVF. He wrote a feature film called "Papilla the Letter", which was broadcast on SABC 1. He has also worked on numerous short films as an Assistant Director and Director.
